Update Phone Information through an Activity

This enhancement provides an ability to update phone data stored in the AsPhone table through an activity.

Prerequisites

• A Client or GroupCustomer with an entry in AsPhone - Client with name Phone Number was setup to test.
• The Client and/or GroupCustomer screen will need the phone tags set to yes, <DisplayPhoneScreen>Yes</DisplayPhoneScreen>

New Items

• CopyToPhoneFields BR (attached to Prototype/ClientPlan/ClientPhoneUpdate Transaction) attached to ClientPhoneUpdate transaction will copy Phone Type, Country Code, Calling Code and phone number to the AsPhone entry for the client.
• The new transaction ClientPhoneUpdate (Prototype/ClientPlan) will trigger the update of the Phone fields.

Changes to Existing Items

None

Configuration Details

A new transaction is created under Prototype / ClientPlan called ClientPhoneUpdate with attached business rule of CopyToPhoneFields.

• The transaction security is granted for the transaction under Prototype/ClientPlan.
• There is no validation in the example transaction, please ensure the phone number is 10 characters long.
